It's not a dream at all,they're independent now so if they wanted to make a new game and make it multi-platform nothing's stopping them(Last I heard they had no exclusive game deal with Microsoft aside from the Halo franchise).
We,Ps3 owners,will not buy The Last Remnant on Ps3.It's a terrible game that deserves no shelf space whatsoever.

By ''Multi-platform engines'' you're referring to some of the 3rd party developers inability to get the Unreal Engine to run b-e-s-t on Ps3,right?
After seeing the still shots from Eurogamer,it quickly became apparent that the Ps3 is running CryEngine 3 better than the 360.I think the reason they showed more of the Engine running on the 360 was to quell any doubts/rumors that the Engine wouldn't be able to run well on the slightly outdated platform.
Of course the PC will always have much better graphics when it comes to Cryteks stuff,so at the end of the day it really doesn't matter which console version looks best.
